Robin Williams & Wife to Divorce

Comedian Robin Williams and his wife of 19 years Marsha Garces Williams are divorcing, his rep confirmed yesterday. Garces filled the papers in San Francisco on March 21, citing the typical Hollywood reason - "irreirreconcilable differences".

Natalie Imbruglia & Daniel Johns Split

Australian singers Natalie Imbruglia and Daniel Johns (from Silverchair) have ended their four year marriage, in a statement released earlier tonight. The pair, who married on New Year's Eve in 2003, said "While we are very sad that our marriage has ended we want to make it clear that our parting is amicable and we remain friends. This mutual decision has not been taken lightly or quickly. However, our career demands and our lives in different parts of the world have brought us to the point where unfortunately this difficult decision was necessary for both of us. We have simply grown apart through not being able to spend enough time together. We have issued this statement to set the record straight and to eliminate any need for speculation. We will not be making any further public statements whatsoever in regard to this very private matter and we ask that people please respect our sincere wishes in this regard." The split does not really come as a shock to the Australian music industry, as Imbruglia lives in London while Johns resides in Sydney.

Sean Penn and Wife Divorce

Sean Penn and his wife of eleven years, Robin Wright Penn, are divorcing. The split was confirmed by the Penns' rep, Mara Buxbaum. The pair have two sons, Hopper Jack and Dylan Frances.

Brendan Fraser and Afton Smith Split

Brendan Fraser and his wife since 1998, Afton Smith, have seperated. The Mummy star's publicist Ina Treciokas announced the news in a statement, saying "They continue to maintain a close and caring friendship." The couple have three sons: Griffin, Holden and Leland.
