Heidi Klum Sued by Jewellery Company

Project Runway's Heidi Klum (the mega supermodel) is being sued by jewellery company Van Cleef & Arpels - for apparently ripping off one of their designs in her jewellery range Heidi Klum GmbH and Mouawad USA. Van Cleef & Arpels say that one of the designs, the clover piece, is extremely similar to pieces of the vintage line that it creates "confusion in the marketplace." Pascal Mouawad, the head of Mouawad USA, hit back saying that "shapes like clovers, flowers, hearts, etc are universal symbols and commonly used in jewellery." Van Cleef & Arpels are suing for copyright infringement and are seeking an excess of $25,000 in damages from the star.
